Additional Mulholland Bridge Closures Postponed
The utility relocation work that would have required the Mulholland Bridge to be closed from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. for the rest of the week has been postponed.
Update: 12:30 p.m.
The remaining nightly closures of the Mulholland Bridge for this week have been postponed. It is anticipated that the closures will resume next week. More information will be forwarded soon.

Construction crews will need to continue to close the Mulholland Bridge for additional nights until the end of this week, according to Metro Community Relations Officer Ron Macias.
Macias said street plates on the Mulholland Bridge will need to be recessed on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday night, requiring the Mulholland Bridge to be closed from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

"After this week, we anticipate that the bridge closures should be done for the time-being," Macias said in a press release.
The southern half of the bridge will be reconstructed over the following 11 months.Â
