Starting, building and maintaining a business is always a tough proposition, but in today’s economic climate, it’s more difficult than ever. Thousands of small businesses are struggling, filing for bankruptcy and in too many cases, shutting their doors forever.

In this one-hour ‘business makeover’ series, self-made multi-millionaire and business expert Peter Jones answers the call of small businesses with the goal of transforming them from money-pit to money-maker.  The businesses will be as varied as the solutions that Peter will come up with to fix them - from bakery to bed and breakfast, dog grooming to auto repair, nail salon to tattoo parlor, department store to electronics super store.

Before Peter steps through the door, he will learn the broad strokes of the business - how and when it was established, it’s track record and what areas the owner needs help with. Then it’s time for Peter to roll up his sleeves, meet the business owner/s and employees and see first-hand why the company is struggling. Based on Peter’s observations, he will work with the owner/s to devise a plan to help the business.

The process will be illuminating for the business owners, who have likely followed their hearts and trusted their instincts as they’ve built their business, but must now accept some help to maximize their profits and build their company.  They will experience many emotions during the process, as Peter Jones gives them the tools to turn their business toward a hopeful future. 

Will the reorganization lead to increased revenue?  Can debt be overcome?  Employee issues ironed out? Will the owner be willing to accept the changes or will they revert to their old ways?  All will be revealed in an epilogue, when we revisit the business several weeks or months later.
