Club Pilates is owned and operated by Tarzana residents and married couple Brian and Katya Stromblad, who three years ago were simultaneously laid off from their corporate jobs, causing them to lose the escrow on their new home. With two small children to raise, the pair wanted more control over their destinies while helping people improve their daily lives through fitness. This led to the search for a business venture and they very quickly gravitated towards the Club Pilates franchise. The Stromblads opened their first Club Pilates in Culver City in 2017 and after much success, decided to open the second location in Tarzana, which is expected to bring more than a dozen jobs to the city.
““It was at that time that I was researching how physical development effects the brain, specifically for my children that I began to search for a fitness concept that could deliver similar benefits to adults. It was then that I found Club Pilates,” Katya Stromblad said. “Club Pilates Tarzana is like no other Pilates studio because our entire studio is designed with member experience in mind. Our goal is that from the moment you enter, the atmosphere is both immersive and de-stressing. The caring and professional staff will guide members into classes best suited for their goals and fitness level and our certified instructors will reinvigorate them with a full body workout. Members will leave knowing they have done something amazing for themselves.”
