Brush Fire Extinguished In Encino

Firefighters extinguished a half-acre blaze near the Encino Reservoir.

ENCINO, CA — Firefighters have extinguished a half-acre brush fire that burned in the 4100 block of North Adlon Place, near the Encino Reservoir. The Los Angeles Fire Department reported the fire 2:08 p.m. Thursday, when the fire moved uphill in light to medium brush.

64 firefighters extinguished the fire just after 3 p.m. No structural damage or injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
