Brush Fire Scorches Tarzana Hillside

Three acres of medium-density brush has burned in a fire that broke out just before 4 p.m. Wednesday in Tarzana.

TARZANA, CA — Firefighters were able to fully contain a three-acre brush fire in Tarzana Wednesday afternoon.

The fire broke out just before 4 p.m. in the 3600 block of North Vanalden Avenue, according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department. The blaze burned a hillside dotted with light to medium brush. No structures were threatened in the blaze.
