Car, Orange Line Bus Collide in Encino
UPDATE: As many as six persons have been taken to area hospitals, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Nine people were injured Monday morning when an articulated Orange Line bus and a car collided at White Oak Avenue and the Orange Line busway in Encino, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Six people were transported to area hospitals with minor injuries.
Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department said those hurt were aboard the westbound bus, which has two sections and a central pivoting point. The woman driving the car declined medical treatment, he said.
Firefighters helped remove her injured dog from the back seat of the car, and the animal was placed in the care of one of her relatives, who was arranging for the canine to receive veterinary care, Humphrey said.
