Coral Tree Cafe Named a 2-Star Certified Green Restaurant

Coral Tree Cafe Encino and Brentwood were recently certified as 2-Star Certified Green Restaurants by the Green Restaurant Association (GRA), a national nonprofit organization helping restaurants to become more environmentally sustainable. 

Receiving 162 GreenPoints on the GRA’s rigorous certification scale and having implemented 60 environmental steps, Coral Tree Cafe has gone 62 percent above and beyond the minimum requirements necessary for certification. 

Some accomplishments for this designation include:

• 30 percent of entrees are vegetarian 
  
• Tankless water heater
• 100 percent post consumer recycled menu paper
• Energy star dishwasher
• Uses greener linen cleaning company
