“Not one single day goes by that my kids and I don’t do something outside in the garden,” Ely writes in her first blog post. “Even if it’s only for five minutes, getting outside and playing the garden is important in our lives.”
Her children have mastered counting, writing and science lessons while playing in the dirt in their Encino backyard. Ely is now sharing her daily garden activities with other parents at kardenscorner.com., in her Kinder Garden book series and on her new Encino Patch blog.
