Ellen Brown to Speak on the Shocking Truth About Our Money System

What: Ellen Brown, a prominent author, will speak on the subject of debt solutions and state banks on April 19. The evening will culminate with a question-and-answer session.

Who: Ellen Brown is an attorney and chairman of the Public Banking Institute. She has written 11 books, including Web of Debt: The Shocking Truth About Our Money System and How We Can Break Free.    

Where: She will be speaking at the Van Nuys State Building Auditorium, located on Van Nuys Boulevard at Calvert Street.

Why: Now in its expanded and revised fourth printing, Web of Debt explains the origin of the Federal Reserve, the functioning our money supply, currency speculation, capital flows, and more. Brown's book will also be available.

How: The evening will be presented by the Valley Democrats United and will be moderated by Mark Pash, CFP.
