Celebrities and business leaders are scheduled to attend the "Helping Africa Rise & Walk: Spring 2011 GEANCO Foundation L.A. Benefit,'' with proceeds benefiting the group's work in Nigeria. Actor Djimon Hounsou, Kimora Lee Simmons and Kelly Rowland are among those scheduled to attend.
The Foundation is currently developing Nigeria’s first world-class hospital. In September, GEANCO will lead a first-of-its-kind medical mission to perform complex hip and knee replacements in adults and repair bone and spine deformities in young children.
