Fire Damages Two-Story Tarzana Home
The cause of the Tuesday night blaze remains under investigation.
TARZANA, CA — A fire damaged a home in Tarzana Tuesday night, but firefighters were able to stop it from spreading beyond a single bedroom.
The blaze was reported to the Los Angeles Fire Department shortly after 8 p.m. Tuesday in the 19100 block of Rosita Street in Tarzana. Crews arrived to find flames in a second-story bedroom, but they held off in attacking from the roof to determine if it could be contained without damaging the roof, according to LAFD spokesman Nicholas Prange.
Firefighters were able to put out the blaze in under 15 minutes, and no one was injured in the fire.
