Firefighters Extinguish Encino Balcony Fire in 14 Minutes

Crews made quick work Wednesday afternoon of a balcony fire in a two-story home in Encino.

Twenty-nine firefighters responded to 16923 Dormie Place at 4:28 p.m. and doused the flames in 14 minutes, said the Los Angeles Fire Department's Katherine Main.

No injuries were reported in the blaze, which sparked a small grass fire that was also quickly extinguished, she said.
