Flooding Forces Victory, Burbank Boulevards Road Closure

ENCINO, CA — Flooding forced the closure of the Sepulveda Basin Recreation area in Encino Monday afternoon.

The flooding has swamped the intersection at Victory Boulevard and Woodley Avenue, according to City Councilman Paul Koretz's office. The water is creating unsafe conditions for cars and pedestrians. Commuters should expect Burbank Boulevard to be blocked between Hayvenhurst Avenue and the San Diego (405) Freeway.
