A water main burst in a hilly neighborhood above Ventura Boulevard in Encino today.
Los Angeles firefighters went to the 16700 block of Adlon Drive just after 7:30 a.m., when water was spotted running down both sides of the street.
No homes were flooded, and helicopter video made it appear that damage was limited to buckled pavement. A DWP repair crew was summoned to fix the leak.
The neighborhood affected was one block west of Hayvenhurst Avenue, about a mile south of the boulevard.
