Former Encino Cosmetic Surgeon Charged in Liposuction Death

If convicted on all the charges, Dr. Ehab Aly Mohamed faces up to 10 years in prison.

Dr. Ehab Aly Mohamed, a cosmetic surgeon who performed $100,000 procedures in his Encino and Beverly Hills offices, was charged Tuesday with involuntary manslaughter in the death of a 61-year-old liposuction patient, according to the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office.

Dr. Mohamed, who gave up his license to practice, was the subject of a multi-year KNX radio investigation by reporter Charles Feldman.

Dr. Mohamed was also charged with elder abuse involving a second patient. He’s scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in Van Nuys Superior Court, according to KNX .
