Learn How to be a Jedi at Tarzana's Miss Melodee Studios

Miss Melodee Studios opened in Tarzana in October, taking over the space of Ballet Barre Dance Academy. The studio also had booths at the recent 'Taste of Encino' and Woodland Hills-Tarzana Chamber of Commerce street fairs.

If you feel the force may be with you, then Miss Melodee has recently unveiled new Jedi training classes for boys and girls; the studio is holding two free classes on Nov. 2. The first is at 4 p.m. for ages 4-5 and the second is at 5 p.m. for ages 5-7.

Miss Melodee is also expanding its selection of classes to include new adult classes: core strengthening (a fusion of yoga and pilates), Zumba (a dance fitness aerobic routine), hip-hop (upbeat cardio), balley and tap.
