'Grease' and 'Taxi' Star Jeff Conaway Dies at 60
The L.A. County Coroner is conducting an autopsy, TMZ has learned.

An autopsy is scheduled this afternoon for actor Jeff Conaway, who died Friday in an Encino hospital after being taken off life support, according to the TMZ celebrity Web site.
The star of the film "Grease'' and the television show "Taxi'' had been admitted to a hospital earlier this month and was placed in an induced coma after being found unconscious and reportedly suffering from pneumonia and sepsis. He was 60.
Conaway had a long history of substance abuse, but his friend and counselor Dr. Drew from the "Celebrity Rehab" show has adamantly denied the actor died from a drug overdose, according to City News Service. Conaway appeared on show in 2008 and admitted to being addicted to cocaine, alcohol and painkillers.
