Huntington Learning Center Announces College Scholarship Sweepstake

High school students have an opportunity to win $500 towards their higher education.

High school students in the San Fernando Valley are gearing up for the end of summer and the return to hitting the books, all in the expectation of being ready for college in the next few years. is throwing in a little sweetener into that “Back to School” routine with a contest.

High school students have an opportunity to win $500 towards their higher education and future advancement. 

"It is our way of encouraging students to look forward to their educational success," said Norbert Weinberg, the director of .

All the student needs to do is text "500" to 84444 on a cellphone. He or she will then be sent a text message with the web address to provide the registration information for the Sweepstakes. Students can also enter on line by going to huntingtonlearning.com/contest. This contest is open to students age 14 and above who are in high school and who reside in the United States. There is no obligation to purchase or sign up for any other services. Cell carriers may apply text charges for sending and receiving.

Deadline is Sept. 30 and the winner will be notified on or about October 1.
