Masons Will Reprise Constitutional Observance Presentation, 9/17
Invitation to know more about the Constitution on Constitution Day, September 17. For Masons, non-Masons, teachers, students, etc. No charge
INVITATION: On September 17, 2020 (Constitution/Citizenship Day), at 7PM PT on Zoom, Clarence F. Smith Daylight Lodge No. 866, Free and Accepted Masons, will reprise its Constitutional Observance Program for anyone wishing to attend, Mason or non-Mason. No Charge. Up to 50 people. Follow the link below to register for a presentation reviewing personal rights under the Constitution and interpretive Supreme Court cases. This is an opportunity: for Masons who have not had an opportunity to celebrate Constitutional Observance month per the September proclamation of California’s Grand Master; for high school or college students and teachers of American History; for anyone who wants to know more about the U.S. Constitution. September 17 is designated as Constitution Day and Citizenship Day nationally. It’s purpose is to commemorate the day on which the Constitution was signed and to “recognize all who ... have become citizens.” (36 U.S.C. § 106). Please join us on Zoom for this event.
