Mickey Goldsen, the founder of Criterion Music, has died at his home in Encino, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The homepage of Criteron's website states that Goldsen died on October 19. The page also contains a black and white photograph of a young Goldsen, and another page features images of Goldsen with Nat King Cole and Frank Sinatra.
Goldsen's Criterion Music Corp. published hits like "These Boots Are Made For Walkin'", and also published music sung by Frank Sinatra, Charlie Parker and Tony Bennett, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Criterion also worked with Peggy Lee, Dean Martin and Lyle Lovett, according to the company's website.
