Mother, Son, Police, And Suspect Injured In Reseda Burglary
Police fought with a burglary suspect in Reseda, ultimately using a taser gun to subdue him.
RESEDA, CA — A mother and her son were, two police officers and a burglary suspect were injured in a scuffle at a home in Reseda early Wednesday morning.
Police were called to the home in the 8000 block of Reseda Boulevard at about 12:30 p.m. to respond to a possible burglary in progress. Once there, they fought with the suspect as they tried to apprehend him. According to CBS Los Angeles, the officers suffered minor injuries and used a taser gun to subdue the suspect. Both the suspect and the woman who reported the call had to be hospitalized in unknown condition.
The scuffle prompted the officers to issue a call for backup, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

A news photographer at the scene said the suspect was taken to a hospital with injuries suffered in the altercation with officers and the homeowner and her son were also injured, but it was unclear how they were hurt.
