NCL San Fernando Valley Chapter Hosts Virtual Promenade Awards

NATIONAL CHARITY LEAGUE, INC., SAN FERNANDO VALLEY - ANNUAL PROMENADE TEA, COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARDS & 2020 DEBUTANTE ANNOUNCEMENT CEREMONY

Los Angeles, CA MAY 17th 2020 – Members from the National Charity League, Inc., San Fernando Valley Chapter (NCL, Inc.), celebrated their annual Mother-Daughter Promenade Tea & 2020 Debutante Announcement Ceremony, to acknowledge overall time contributed to serving NCL’s Mission and its commitment to community service, leadership development and cultural experiences.

Via a virtual zoom tea-party, the annual Promenade Tea honored the 7th through 12th grade Ticktockers and their Patroness mothers who have embraced this year’s Chapter theme of Memories & Miracles by dedicating themselves to going beyond the minimum philanthropic requirements donating 13,908 volunteer service hours to the community. “Embracing this moment in our world, our Chapter insisted we do more to spread love to our community writing over 2,000 handmade Letters from the Heart that were distributed to our philanthropy partners,” said Chapter President, Dr. Christine Vaughn. “I am thrilled to announce that our outreach of gratitude letters will continue to our heroic medical community for the sacrifices they have made to protect us.” Earning the highest amount of service hours for the third year in a row, Miss Skylar Marsh Takac (Chaminade High School) earned the Merci Award having contributed 465 hours at multiple charities. The Nancy Prusas Senior Service Award was presented to Senior, Miss Brianna Rehfeld Norton, (Chaminade High School) who will be attending San Diego State in the fall.

The San Fernando Valley Chapter debutantes being presented at the November 28th 2020, 55th Charity Ball - "Live out Loud" at the Four Seasons–Beverly Wilshire are:

Miss Anne Elizabeth Frazee, Miss Katherine Marie Frazee, Miss Alexandra Michelle Hadden, Miss Gracie Lynn Huntington, Miss Lauren Marie Kessler, Miss Samantha Eileen Licursi, Miss Bronte Elisabeth Mark, Miss Hannah Nicole Napolske, Miss Brianna Rehfeld Norton, Miss Brianna Elizabeth Ortiz, Miss Samantha Nicole Patierno, Miss Kaela Brooke Selesnick, Miss Olivia Reece Trejo, and Miss Lauren Armine Zakari.

Philanthropies supported by the San Fernando Valley Chapter include: West Valley Food Pantry, Motion Picture Television Fund, Guide Dogs of America, West Valley Boys and Girls Club, American Cancer Society Discovery Shops, Operation Gratitude, New Horizons, ONEgeneration, Special Olympics Tri-Valley, and My Stuff Bags Foundation.
