Persian Fest Set for Balboa Park Sunday

Organizers are expecting 20,000 to 25,000 visitors.

This year's “Sizdeh Bedar Festival” will be held from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Sunday, at Lake Balboa, 6300 Balboa Blvd., Encino. Organizers are expecting 20,000 to 25,000 visitors from the Valley, Santa Monica, Westwood and other parts of Los Angeles.

Tickets are $15 at the gate. Children under 10 are $5. Parking is free.
