Questions Remain In Actor Jackson Odell's Death At Sober Facility
An autopsy was unable to explain what killed 20-year-old actor Jackson Odell at a Tarzana sober living facility.

TARZANA, CA — Questions remained Tuesday about the death of “The Goldbergs” actor and songwriter Jackson Odell, whose body was found in a sober living facility in Tarzana over the weekend.
Odell's official cause of death was listed as deferred following an autopsy. The coroner's office will conduct further tests, it was reported Tuesday. The test results could take six to eight weeks.
The twenty-year-old actor had been working since he was 12, appearing in such shows as "Modern Family," "Arrested Development" and "iCarly."

His body was found at 1:45 p.m. Friday after he failed to show up for a meeting at the sober living facility.
His family posted a statement to his website following his death.

“The Odell family has lost our beloved son and brother,” it said. “He will always be a shining light and a brilliant, loving and talented soul. He had so much more to share.
“We are now going to try to make sense of our immeasurable loss privately.”
Fellow “The Goldbergs,” actor Sean Giambrone said Tweeted about his last meeting with his friend.
“He talked about his music and his plans," wrote Giambrone. "So talented and one the sweetest most welcoming people I’ve ever met. I’m really going to miss that.”
