Schedule for Upcoming Mulholland Bridge Closures

The Mulholland Bridge will close Wednesday and Thursday this week, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

"This closure is required to recess street plates and to conduct some minor utility work along the Mulholland Bridge," said Metro Community Relations Officer Ron Macias in an email.

Reconstruction of the 50-year-old Mulholland Bridge is part of the $1 billion project to widen the perpetually bottlenecked segment of the 405 Freeway through the Sepulveda Pass. Construction crews will spend about 11 months doing bridge reconstruction on the south side.
