Saturday Morning

1:03 a.m. 16600 block of Devonshire Street, Granada Hills
LAPD receives a report of a "415 fight" at the apartment complex. The caller hears a loud argument coming from the neighbors' residence, and adds that it is a family dispute.

1:09 a.m. 15300 block of Valley Vista Boulevard, Sherman Oaks
Van Nuys Division LAPD receives a "screaming woman call" in the Sherman Oaks neighborhood. A woman is heard screaming and is seen being chased by a man who got out of a van parked near Whole Foods Market. The woman and the man are seen running on Sepulveda Boulevard toward Ventura Boulevard. Patrol units are requested to respond "code 3" (with lights and sirens).

1:11 a.m.
Lankershim Boulevard and Collins Street, North Hollywood
North Hollywood Division LAPD receives a "man with a gun" call. The man is spotted inside Nora's Place bar and is wearing a "checkered shirt and blue jeans, and has an unknown type handgun in his waistband."

1:12 a.m. Sepulveda Boulevard and Hartsook Street, Sherman Oaks
Valley Traffic Division unit is requested to the scene of an "ambulance/traffic" incident at the intersection, with a "code 3" response.

1:15 a.m. Chase Street and Langdon Avenue, North Hills
Mission Division LAPD units are notified of 2 possible suspects "running southbound through the building at Chase and Langdon."

1:15 a.m. Kittridge Street and Troost Avenue, North Hollywood
A North Hollywood Division LAPD unit has stopped a possible "code 6 Charles suspect" (a wanted person known to be dangerous and possibly armed). After investigation, it is determined that this is not the wanted person.

1:17 a.m. Chase Street and Langdon Avenue, North Hills
A Mission Division unit has arrived at the scene and radios that he observed one of the possible suspects running toward Roscoe Boulevard (a block away) and crossing east of Langdon Avenue. Another officer on the radio is surprised that he made it so far in such short time. The first officer comments that he was "moving at a fairly quick pace."

1:18 a.m. 10700 block of Limerick Street, Chatsworth
LAFD is called to respond to a seizure at the residence.

1:19 a.m. 16000 block of Celtic Street, Granada Hills
LAFD's Task Force 75, Rescue 75, Task Force 87, Rescue 87, EMS 12 and Battalion 12 are called to the scene of a possible structure fire at the residence.

1:23 a.m. Light Force 75 is on the scene and reports "a one-story single-family dwelling with smoke showing."

1:25 a.m. After investigation, it is determined that the "smoke showing" is just "food on the stove." Light Force 75 will handle securing the scene, all other responding units are cleared until the next assignment.

1:27 a.m. 5900 block of Canoga Avenue, Woodland Hills
LAPD is called to the scene of an "ambulance/battery" at the TGI Friday's, with a "code 3" response.

2:04 a.m. 6200 block of Lankershim Boulevard, North Hollywood
LAFD Rescue 60 is sent to aid a person suffering a seizure at the address.

2:06 a.m. Fair Avenue and Hatteras Street, North Hollywood
North Hollywood LAPD units are notified of a "hit-and-run misdemeanor" incident at the intersection. Two males are observed attempting to push their beige Toyota and "leave the scene."

2:12 a.m. Eastbound Chandler Avenue, near Laurel Canyon Boulevard, North Hollywood
North Hollywood Division LAPD units are called to respond to a report of a drunk driver in a red Honda Civic. A citizen has spotted the vehicle and provided the information.

2:24 a.m.
Saticoy Street and Vineland Avenue, North Hollywood
Report of "shots heard only" near the intersection. North Hollywood Division LAPD patrol units are requested to respond.

2:24 a.m.
12400 block of Moorpark Street, Studio City
An LAPD Valley Traffic Division unit is called to the scene of an "ambulance/traffic" incident, with a "code 3" response.

2:25 a.m.
Tujunga Avenue and Saticoy Street, North Hollywood
Report of "5 to 6 shots heard" in the vicinity. "No suspect or vehicle seen." North Hollywood LAPD units are notified.

2:26 a.m.
7100 block of Fulton Avenue, Valley Glen
Report of an assault with a deadly weapon in progress. Five possible male gang members are seen assaulting one male in the parking structure at the location. One of the assailants is said to be armed with a "silver handgun." North Hollywood LAPD units are requested to respond "code 3."

2:26 a.m. Tujunga Avenue and Keswick Street, Sun Valley
Report of "10 shots heard" in the area. Foothill Division LAPD units are called to respond "code 3."

2:28 a.m. 7100 block of Fulton Avenue, Valley Glen
An LAPD helicopter is now over the scene of the "ADW" (assault with a deadly weapon) in progress. The air unit officer comments on an increase tagging by a certain notorious gang in the area, MS 13, and this may be a related incident.

2:31 a.m. Gladstone Avenue and Femmont Street, Sylmar
Mission Division LAPD units are advised that the "ADW" call transmitted earlier is now a "shooting occurred."

2:33 a.m. in the San Fernando Valley, probably in LAFD Station 78's district
LAFD's Light Force 78 radios Operations Command Dispatch (OCD) to notify LAPD that the accident they responded to is actually a "hit-and-run" situation. A driver and a passenger were seen fleeing from the car, a silver four-door 2011 Hyundai Sonata, which they abandoned "partly on the sidewalk, and partly on the street."

2:35 a.m. 7100 block of Fulton Avenue, Valley Glen
An LAPD officer advises that a resident has observed "something going on two buildings south of 7100."

2:36 a.m. in the San Fernando Valley, probably in LAFD Station 78's district
Light Force 78 now advises OCD to notify LAPD that the other driver still remaining at the scene is actually drunk. The drunk driver has now changed his original story about the "hit-and-run" Hyundai and its fleeing occupants, to a story where the Hyundai was unoccupied and actually parked when he hit it.

3:08 a.m. 3300 Warner Boulevard, Burbank
An LAPD officer advises the dispatcher to notify Burbank Police regarding a "459" (Burglary) in progress. The person reporting, who is inside the business address, observes a man trying to break into the Warner Music Group building. He also reports seeing a white SUV, possibly belonging to the alleged burglar.

3:14 a.m.
12600 Van Nuys Boulevard, Pacoima
Foothill Division LAPD is notified of an "officer needs help" call at the location. Less than a minute after the call, the officer in need advises the dispatcher, "code 4 (additional units need not respond), suspect is in custody."

3:16 a.m. Lankershim Boulevard and Victory Boulevard, North Hollywood
A North Hollywood LAPD officer radios the he needs "back-up." The officer advises that the "hit-and-run suspect is going southbound on Lankershim from Victory, in a white Maxima." The first officer advises there is "damage to the front of the vehicle." His partner, radios that there were "."
The LAPD dispatcher radios to other patrol units, "Officer needs help. Lankershim and Victory. Shots fired. Officer injured."

3:17 a.m. Lankershim Boulevard and Victory Boulevard, North Hollywood
A North Hollywood officer radios that there is a "victim down, male Hispanic, not conscious, breathing, approximately 20 to 25 years old."

3:17 a.m. The officer confirms that his partner was injured, along with a Hispanic male in the incident. He provides information that the suspect is last seen fleeing southbound on Lankershim Boulevard in a white, early 2000 Nissan Maxima with front-end damage.

3:18 a.m. North Hollywood LAPD lead officer, "15 L 30" asks for unit Adam 85's location. An officer from the Adam 85 unit responds, "We're at Hacienda Corona. Victory and Lankershim."

3:20 a.m. The lead officer on the scene requests other responding units to shut down Colfax Avenue at Sylvan Street. (Colfax Avenue connects at the intersection of Lankershim Boulevard and Victory Boulevard, creating a 'five-points' intersection. Sylvan Street is one block south of Victory Boulevard).

3:21 a.m. The lead officer on the scene requests an additional North Hollywood unit to the Hacienda Corona to interview any possible witnesses to the incident. The suspect in the white Nissan Maxima is now wanted for assault with a deadly weapon on a police officer.

3:22 a.m. The Adam 85 officer advises that there is only one suspect in the white Maxima. "He's going to be a heavy-set male Hispanic."

3:24 a.m. An LAPD helicopter is responding to the scene of the assault with a deadly weapon on a police officer. A North Hollywood patrol unit is checking the side streets off Lankershim Boulevard for the white Nissan Maxima.

3:24 a.m. Another patrol car requests the Air Ship unit to check out the Nissan at the Taco Bell on the corner of Lankershim Boulevard and Oxnard Street. The car may fit the description of the suspect's vehicle. The officers have observed suspicious behavior from persons near the car at the Taco Bell.

3:26 a.m. The officers observing the Taco Bell location notice that a "heavy-set guy" has entered a Toyota Camry at the scene, which is near a car that could possibly be the white Maxima involved in the "ADW." The suspect was described as a heavy-set male.

3:31 a.m. Killion Street and Sylmar Avenue, Van Nuys
Van Nuys Division LAPD units are called to the scene of an "ambulance/cutting" incident. A fight among several people was reported, with a possible stabbing suspect down, at the location.

3:33 a.m. 14300 block of Burbank Boulevard, Van Nuys
Van Nuys Division LAPD units are notified of a "shooting just occurred." This is an address nearby the Killion Street occurrence. Several people are reported to be "fist-fighting," and three to four shots were fired.

3:35 a.m. Lankershim Boulevard and Oxnard Street, North Hollywood
North Hollywood units at the Taco Bell location radio a "code 4" (no further units need respond). They have a possible suspect in custody, but the suspect turns out not to be the person the police are seeking.
