Tarzana Fire Damages Attached Garage

TARZANA, CA — Fire Sunday damaged an attached garage to a home in Tarzana.

"The fire was contained to the well-involved garage with no extension into the attached, single-family dwelling," said Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Firefighters dispatched at 12:30 p.m. to 18505 W. Linnet St. had the fire out within 12 minutes of their arrival, Stewart said.

"All occupants were out of the home prior to LAFD arrival and no injuries were reported," she said.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
