Tarzana NBA Player Charged With Assault
Former NBA Player Ronald Davis, nicknamed "Big Baby," is accused of slamming a man into a wall during a fight outside an LA nightclub.

TARZANA, CA – Ronald Glen Davis, an ex-professional basketball player from Tarzana, has been charged with the felony assault of a man outside of a West Hollywood club, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office announced.
Davis, who previously played for the Boston Celtics, Orlando Magic and Los Angeles Clippers, faces one count of assault by means of force likely to produce great bodily injury, the press release said. The charge includes an allegation of causing great bodily injury.
Davis, whose nickname is "Big Baby," allegedly threw a victim into a wall during a fight outside of a club in the 600 block of Robertson Boulevard on April 8, prosecutors said.

If convicted as charged, he faces a possible maximum sentence of seven years in state prison. The case remains under investigation by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, West Hollywood Station.
