Tarzana Teen Killed While Car Surfing
The Agoura Hills 15-year-old may have been run over after falling off vehicle.

Authorities today identified a 15-year-old girl who was killed in an accident in Tarzana that a friend said occurred while she was “car surfing.”
The victim was found by a friend lying bleeding on the ground in the 3500 block of Reseda Boulevard in Tarzana around 9:15 p.m. Monday, according to the Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Traffic Division.
The friend took the teen to a hospital, where she died. She was Tsofia Mesica of Agoura Hills, said coroner’s Assistant Chief Ed Winter. According to the preliminary investigation, the teen fell from a vehicle and may have been run over, Winter said.

Detective Bill Bustos of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Traffic Division told reporters the girl had been among a group of 10-15 teens gathered at the scene.
One of the girl’s friends, Liam Giat, told ABC7 that the victim was hanging onto a moving vehicle when she fell off and hit her head.
