TARZANA, CA — A threat made against the Woodcrest School in Tarzana forced school officials to close the campus Friday. School administrators reportedly instructed parents to tell their children the school would be closed due to a plumbing problem.
Families found out about the closure Thursday night with a posting on the school's Facebook page telling parents to check their emails for an important message.
"Please stay calm and know that our number one priority is the safety of your children," the email read, according to the Los Angeles Times.
