VALLEY DEBUTANTES TO BE PRESENTED AT 53rd ANNUAL CHARITY BALL -

National Charity League, Inc. - San Fernando Valley Chapter's November 24, 2018, 53rd Annual Charity Ball, "Just the Way You Are" - 2018

Los Angeles, CA – September 19, 2018 - With an influential presence of over seventy years in Los Angeles, the San Fernando Valley Chapter of National Charity League, Inc. announced the eighteen Debutantes to be presented at the legendary 53rd Annual Charity Ball, “Just the Way You Are” at the Beverly Wilshire-Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills on Saturday, November 24, 2018. According to Chapter President, Mrs. Ani Zakari, “I am so honored to present these extraordinary young women who have participated in our wonderful six-year mother-daughter philanthropic program of leadership development, volunteer service and cultural experiences to become empowered, socially aware contributors in their communities.”

Over the San Fernando Valley Chapter’s decades long history, its members have dedicated tens of thousands of hours to the community marking a record-breaking achievement last year of 12,000+ service hours - with 9,000 of those hours served, mothers and daughters working alongside each other to support the vitally important programs and missions of their philanthropy partners. Despite the millions of dollars they have raised, the City of Angels is expanding and with homelessness on the rise, additional monetary assistance is desperately needed. Ms. Katherine Levaton and Mrs. Laurie Dahlerbruch, the 2018 Charity Ball Chairwomen impressed, “The November Charity Ball is the San Fernando Valley Chapter’s sole fundraiser with many philanthropies heavily relying on its success. We are reaching out to our Los Angeles community for donations and to raise an awareness of shared compassion - every dollar you give or even just a passing smile can change someone’s life for the better.” Philanthropies supported by National Charity League, Inc.-San Fernando Valley Chapter include: West Valley Food Pantry, Motion Picture Television Fund, Guide Dogs of America, West Valley Boys and Girls Club, American Cancer Society Discovery Shops, Operation Gratitude, New Horizons, ONEgeneration, Special Olympics Tri-Valley, and My Stuff Bags Foundation.

The San Fernando Valley Ticktockers being presented in the Debutante Class of 2018 include:
