Best Restaurants For Wine Lovers In CA: OpenTable's 2018 List

CALIFORNIA – Whether you're a wine aficionado or a novice looking to expand your palate, we've got a list for you. OpenTable has uncorked its "100 Best Restaurants for Wine Lovers in America" list for 2018, and a number of restaurants in California made the cut.

The annual list features restaurants that span 26 states and Washington, D.C. New York came out on top with 12 restaurants on the list, followed by California with 10 spots serving up crisp whites, tangy rosés and velvety reds.

OpenTable, an online restaurant reservation system, compiled its list based on more than 12 million reviews for more than 28,000 restaurants in all 50 states and Washington, D.C. The reviews were submitted on the site between Aug. 1, 2017 and July 31, 2018.

These are the best restaurants for wine lovers in California, according to OpenTable. Restaurants are listed in alphabetical order:

• Bistro Jeanty – Yountville
• Bottega Napa Valley – Yountville
• Bouchon – Yountville
• Boulevard – San Francisco
• House of Prime Rib – San Francisco
• Mastro's Ocean Club - Newport Beach – Newport Beach
• Mustards Grill – Yountville
• Osteria Mozza – Los Angeles
• Passionfish – Pacific Grove
• Vintana Wine & Dine – Escondido
