Tyler Yang's rbi double sparks Mission Hills to 8-6 win

Willauer-Contributing Writer-Tuesday, March 27, 2018-Mission Hills High School-San Marcos, CA: In a Mike Morrow Classic Division contest of the 68th Annual San Diego Lions Invitational Baseball Tournament game that was played at Mission Hills High School ,the Grizzles found a way to win after 2 ties and 6 lead changes, winning relief pitcher Tyler Yang after going 0 for 3 with a walk, delivered a 1 ball pitch 2 rbi double to rightfield scoring Tanner Stanich and Kingston Liniak and defeated previously undefeated Rocklin Thunder of Sacramento, CA by an 8-6 score.
Tyler Yang on his game winning double for Mission Hills: " I hit an 1-0 pitch inside curveball while making contact, I wanted the ball to stay on the ground and to go through the infield for the base hit."

" I feel that were an all around team with pitching, hitting and defense we come out and do our best as we can and if we play hard will be CIF Champions this is the best baseball team in Mission Hills history, will be better then the 2013 CIF Champion squad
