Crash Blocks State Route 78

ESCONDIDO, CA -- A two-car crash blocked a North County freeway Tuesday afternoon just as rush hour began. The incident was reported at 3:23 p.m. on eastbound state Route 78 near Nordahl Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The CHP incident log said the second lane was blocked as an ambulance responded to the scene.
