Discovery Isle Students Donate Over 50 Pairs of Socks to Seniors

Students at Discovery Isle Preschool on South Twin Oaks Valley Road in San Marcos recently donated more than 50 pairs of socks for local seniors in need. Over the past few weeks, students held a sock drive in support of Meals on Wheels, which operates in virtually every community in America to address senior hunger and isolation. Meals on Wheels distributed the socks to local seniors who receive meal deliveries from the organization. Through this initiative, students learned the value of spreading kindness and helping others in their community.
