Residents Show Heartwarming Appreciation to Staff
A video message from residents at Redwood Terrace thanks staff for their tireless work during the pandemic.

The last few months have been trying for all of us. People are adjusting to new ways of living amid the coronavirus pandemic. For many older adults and senior living communities nationwide, these challenges have been compounded by a necessary need to restrict visitors and curtail all social programs and activities.
But at Redwood Terrace in Escondido, approximately 175 team members have rolled up their sleeves and embraced new roles and responsibilities to find creative alternatives to help residents stay engaged, satisfied and entertained.
This includes delivering puzzles, adult coloring books and brain games door to door, recording wellness programs such as Chair Chi and Chair Zumba so residents can participate at home, arranging socially-distanced one-on-one visits, and offering guidance on virtual communication with friends and loved ones.
