SHPP Acquires Senior Move Masters
The acquisition will enable the home-buying and selling company to expand its services to include decluttering, packing, space planning and
San Diego-based home-buying and selling company SHPP is expanding its services with the acquisition of move-management company Senior Move Masters. The official acquisition took place on Feb. 1, 2021. The acquisition is in partnership with Jonathan Schwartz of Partner in Aging.
Through its trademark Senior Home Purchase Program, SHPP purchases homes in their current condition and pays 100 percent of all costs associated with the sale, allowing seniors to bypass a traditional open market sale. The company also offers a home listing program for those who prefer that route. Senior Move Masters provides seniors with move management services that include sorting and decluttering, space planning, packing and helping the individual unpack and settle into their new home.
“SHPP and Senior Move Masters are both focused on providing a stress-free moving solution to seniors and their families, so this acquisition will create even more value for our customers,” says Rob Perkins, founder and CEO of SHPP. “Senior Move Masters does everything from helping their customers sort through their family heirlooms to setting up their television in their new home. Inspired to help others by their own grandparents’ journey to downsize and transition into their senior living homes, Perkins and his sister, Corinne Ross, founded SHPP in 2015 and have since helped 58 families through Senior Home Purchase Program.
Senior Move Masters has helped more than 4,000 families to date.
