Watch To See If 'Price Is Right' For San Marcos Resident

Tune in Friday to see Deborah Curry "come on down" on TV game show. "Grandbaby Needs A New Car," the family T-shirts read. Will it happen?

SAN MARCOS, CA – Local resident Deborah Curry of San Marcos will appear on "The Price Is Right" on Friday, June 1, according to the show's affiliates.

Accompanying Curry at the show's taping were her husband, Dave, her daughter, Julie, pregnant with their second grandchild due in September, Julie’s in-laws, Rick and Marie, and Julie’s husband’s brother Jeffrey.

While sitting in the audience with her family -- all wearing matching “Grandbaby Needs a New Car” T-shirts -- Deborah was called to "come on down" ... and so she did!

While having watched "The Price Is Right" on and off for the past 30 years, Curry said she never thought she actually would be on the show (the longest running game-show in television history, by the way).

She dubbed the experience as simultaneously scary and exciting. "You find yourself unable to think quickly and are just happy to be alive," Curry said. "My heart was racing, and I just could not believe that I was picked for this great show."
