Anti Human Trafficking Workshop on You How Can Help Curb Crime
Sacramento tops highest human trafficking cities in the nation. Learn what you can do to help next Thursday at a free workshop.

SACRAMENTO, CA- Local residents interested in learning more about human trafficking in the Sacramento area are welcome to attend a free panel discussion at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 10. The event, hosted by the American Association of University Women's Sacramento Chapter, will be hosted at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, 2391 St. Mark’s Way in Sacramento.
Sacramento is said to have one of the highest human trafficking incidence in the United States, alongside Houston The Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office has set up a special task force to deal with the issue.
The gathering will focus on what is being done locally to curb these crimes and how community members can help. A question-and-answer session will follow.
