The Institute of Art Sacramento Artists Give Life to Heroes of Nature’s Home

The volunteer heroes of nature giving regional wildlife a second chance to live at Wildlife Care Association of Sacramento are getting an upgrade! The former USAF Radar Dome has been home to the state’s second largest wildlife rehabilitation facility for several years, but has only slowly begun changing and improving its grounds.

With student artist Lindsay Ianni from the Art Institute of Sacramento leading volunteers will come together for two days to give the old radar dome some real life! On Saturday, September 30th and Sunday, October 1st beginning at 8am artists will add new wildlife images and create a new look for the entrance of the former USAF building visited by more than 6000 residents each season with injured, orphaned and displaced birds and small animals.
