Carmichael Fencer Eliminated At Olympics
James Williams falls in individual event, team competition remains.
A who has been eliminated from the individual competition in men's saber in London, according to US Fencing.
James Williams, a 2003 Rio grad, lost to Nikolay Kovalev of Russia 15-12 in his first individual Olympic appearance, US Fencing wrote on Facebook and Twitter.
Williams has another chance against Russia in the team event on Friday.
