After taking Azlin's description and a brief perimeter search with K9 units and air support, deputies were able to locate Azlin on the campus of a nearby elementary school. He was taken into custody without incident.

A search of the campus led to the recovery of a weapon believed to be used in the attack on the victim, according to the Sheriff's report. The motive for this crime is currently being investigated, and there are no outstanding suspects associated with this incident.

Azlin is being held without bail.
