County Service Center Accepting Holiday Donations

Canned goods, glasses to be recycled, even pet food will be accepted.

Sacramento County's East Area Service Center representatives want to remind Fair Oaks, Carmichael and Orangevale residents its donation drop off site is available.

The center accepts a variety of items around this time of year:

  • Used glasses to be recycled and given to those in need
  • The Orangevale Food Bank, now accepting canned and boxed foods items
  • Toys for the Orangevale Food Bank holiday toy drive
  • Sacramento County Animal Shelter Pet Pantry program, accepting unopened wet and dry dog and cat food to be given to pet owners in need.

The East Area Service Center is located at 5229 Hazel Ave. (at Madison in the Raley shopping center), Fair Oaks.

The lobby hours are Monday-Friday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., excluding holidays.
