Hey, my name is Adam Busch and I'm always searching Sacramento, Folsom, Rocklin, Roseville, Davis and all the areas in between for interesting things to do for dates. Dates are really just a synonym for adventures, and adventures are important for couples because they provide opportunities for couples to grow together in new and unexpected ways. And, they are fun!
So, here are five great date ideas you can find around Sacramento!

Have you checked out the Leonardo da Vinci “Machines in Motion” Exhibit at the Aerospace Museum of California? Forty replicas of Leonardo’s visionary designs and innovations are on display. Some of these include the construction of Leonardo’s prophetic ideas such as the helicopter, glider, armored tank, printing press, and robot.

This might be the perfect rainy day date this weekend. It’s open weekdays from 9am - 4pm, and weekends 10 am - 5 pm (admittance ends at 4pm).
Cost: $15/adult. Location: Aerospace Museum of California, McCellan Park area.
And for no good reason at all except that I like it, this is something Leonardo Da Vinci said: "Life without love, is no life at all."

A Team-Building Date
What combines teamwork for two, exercise and fun, and support and motivation? Yes, that’s rock climbing.
Sacramento’s Pipeworks is considered its best rock climbing gym. Honestly, when you enter it feels like you’ve just landed on a foreign planet with colorful rocks floating all over the walls.

If you’ve never tried rock climbing, there’s a chance that this might just be that new hobby you and your partner have been looking for. It's addicting, your body feels really good afterwards, there are tons of other people to meet, and the feeling of achievement is real.
For $35, you can participate in an introductory class where they will show you the ropes (zing!) and then let you go off and start climbing.
Located just north of Downtown Sacramento. For more information: https://touchstoneclimbing.com...
Double Date Game Night Date
My girlfriend and I stumbled upon the Game Getaway this weekend in Old Town Folsom and learned that for $5 you can play any of their 180 games for as long as you want.

It’s a cute little shop and is open till 9pm from Tuesday-Saturday. Here’s an inexpensive way to get together with another couple and try out a bunch of different games.
Located in Old Town Folsom off of Sutter Street. For more information: http://www.thegamegetaway.com
A Cute Gelatto Date
It's finally warm enough for ice cream (well, it's really close). Devine Gelateria has some of the best gelatto in the world (seriously, it's argued by many) and a cute backyard patio. It’s a simple, sweet, and quick little date.

This will cost you about $4-$8/person. Devine is located in Downtownand East Sacramento. If you go to the East Sacramento location, you will be a couples blocks away from McKinley Park. Gelatto and rose garden? Yes!
The Mystique Dining Show
I still can't believe this experience exists out here. If there was a gem anywhere around here, this would be it.

The opening passage of Mystique Dining's website in Historic Folsom sets the mood for a pretty interesting date night...
“A butler greets you and other guests assembled in front of two ominous chamber doors. When those doors open, you are formally announced to the Manor’s hostess who seats you within the dining chamber. Dinner is perfectly prepared and served in courses. After dessert is cleared, a Master of Magic appears and the magic and mayhem begin. Miracles happen in your hands and mind as your desire to be entertained allows you to suspend belief, forsaking logic and reality. When your evening closes, it leaves one lesson behind…”
Cost: $59-$79/person (dinner and show). To make reservations, go here: http://www.mystiquedining.com/...
