Today's events of the day are related to Carmichael-area high schools.
-El Camino Fundamental High School holds its Advanced Play at 7 p.m. and through Saturday.
-The Eagles baseball team is in the playoffs against Benicia at 4 p.m. at Dan McAuliffe Ballpark, 3001 State University Drive in Sacramento. Carmichael Patch will be at the game. Check back Friday for a recap and photos.
