Events of the Day 5/8: SJUSD Meeting, Alzheimer's Support Group

Today's events of the day are a school board meeting and an Alzheimer's support group.

The board has a meeting at 6:30 p.m. at its main office in Carmichael.

Among the items on the agenda is recognizing the National High School Moot Court Champions from Mira Loma High School. The following school donations will be accepted:

-Camp Winthers: from , $3,600

-: Carol and Stan Christensen – custom bookcase, $150.

-: from Patricia Derobertis, $50.

-: from Verizon Wireless, $750.

-: from David Robertson (to the Leslie Cusick Scholarship Fund), $500; from Felicia Saca,
$400.

Also today, there is an Alzheimer’s Support Group meeting starting at 6 p.m. at Carmichael Oaks, 8350 Fair Oaks Blvd.
