Fair Oaks Allstate Agents Help Secure Grant For Cancer Research
Allstate Foundation grant to support nonprofit's work to raise funds for breast cancer research and support local families battling cancer.

Allstate agency owners and financial specialists from the Sacramento area recently came together to secure a $39,000 Allstate Foundation Helping Hands® grant to benefit the Whitney Ranch Charitable Foundation.
The grant will support the nonprofit organization’s mission to help support families in need in the Placer County area who are battling breast cancer and fund research efforts by Dr. Hope Rugo at the University of San Francisco, California. Dr. Rugo is a professor of medicine specializing in breast cancer research and treatment and serves the director of breast oncology and clinical trials education program at the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center.
The Allstate agency owners and financial specialists earned $39,000 for Whitney Ranch Charitable Foundation by organizing, volunteering and participating in the organization’s Strokes 4 Hope Golf Tournament at Lincoln Hills Golf Course. Strokes 4 Hope features a golf tournament with prizes for contests throughout the course as well as dinner and a raffle at the Lincoln Hills Golf Course. Whitney Ranch Charitable Foundation will use The Allstate Foundation grant to further its work in the community.
