Garage Sale Hunter, Sept. 8: Block Sale, Moving Sale, More

Out looking for a deal on local treasures and random trinkets? Fair Oaks-Carmichael area residents are holding a number of yard and garage sales throughout the day Saturday and Sunday. There's pool tables, block sales, moving sales, heck, there's even an "eclectic" sale. It seems there's a bit of something for just about everyone.

Editor's note: If anyone picks up that pool table, I'm totally down for a game. Just sayin'.

Here's a look at just a few happening in your neck of the woods this weekend.

• Eclectic Block Sale - (Fair Oaks) 7520 Willowview Court: Neighborhood Block Sale - Saturday, Sept. 8 beginning at 8:00 a.m. Located in Orchard Estates, half way between San Juan Ave. and Bannister Dr. across from Rudolf Steiner College. There will approximately four to five neighborhood families, plus there will be at least five friends and family members of mine.
• Moving/Garage Sale, Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 4415 Durango Ct., Fair Oaks: Drill press, tools, rolltop desk, wood end tables, accent tables, desk chairs, Winter & Co. upright piano, desk, antiques, couches, so much more.
• POOL TABLE - $1200 (CARMICHAEL): This is a cherry color, well kept 8-foot pool table. Includes cues, ball sets (2), chalk. It's 2-years-old and hardly used. Pics uploaded to this website. If interested send e-mail here.
• Amazing Garage Sale 9/8-9/9 - 5212 Robertson Avenue, Carmichael: Tons of stuff from big to small: Arcade-size air hockey table, dressers, TVs, Nordic Trak ski machine, industrial sewing machine - just to name some big things. Also nick nacks and pet supplies, there's just too much to list. Come by and make an offer! 8 a.m. till 2 p.m.
