Aaron Wu owned the Chinese restaurant from 2002 to 2007, when the business was passed within the family.

But with those relatives moving to the Bay Area, Wu regained ownership of the Manzanita Avenue eatery in March. He hosted a mixer and ribbon cutting on Monday.

While it's a tough economy for restaurant owners, Wu said he never considered selling the business to a new owner outside the family.

"It's a family business," he said. "We try to keep our expenses to a minimum."

Ultimately, it's the food and service that Wu said keeps customers coming back.

"The food quality, service and the price can't be beat," he said.
