HS Sports Playoffs: Rio Americano Girls Soccer Moves On
El Camino and Victory Christian soccer, EC softball, VC baseball eliminated.
The team advanced in the playoffs Tuesday, while four other Carmichael-area teams were eliminated.
The Raiders girls shut out Yuba City 3-0 with goals from Alexa Heinzer, Lizzie Moulton and Sammy Carpenter. The team next hosts Rodriguez of Fairfield on Thursday.
In other girls soccer action, was shut out at Benicia 1-0 and fell 2-1 at Mariposa.
